Delhi Nursery Admissions 2025-26: The Delhi government’s Directorate of Education (DoE) will close the admission process for open seats in private unaided recognized schools on January 3, marking the last day for parents to upload the necessary details. This admission process applies to nursery, kindergarten (KG), and Class 1 for the academic year.

Delhi Nursery Admissions 2025-26: Important dates for admission lists

After the application deadline, the first list of selected students will be published on January 17. Parents will have the opportunity to raise queries regarding the allotment from January 18 to January 27. If necessary, a second list of selected students will be released on February 3, with a query resolution window available from February 5 to February 11. Check important dates here:

Delhi Nursery Admissions 2025-26: Age relaxation policy

For students falling slightly outside the minimum or upper age limit for their respective classes, the heads of schools have the authority to grant an age relaxation of up to 30 days. Parents seeking such an exemption must approach the school heads or principals directly and submit a manual application.
This streamlined admission process ensures transparency and accessibility while catering to the needs of diverse groups within the city.

Delhi Nursery Admissions 2025-26: Reserved seats for EWS and DG categories

In accordance with government guidelines, 25% of seats in private schools are reserved for children from economically weaker sections (EWS), disadvantaged groups (DG), and children with disabilities. A separate admission list will be released for students in these categories.
