Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has been released the official notification of HP TET 2019. The Exam was held on November 09, 10, 12, and 17, 2019. HP TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has decided some educational criteria for HP TET 2019. Candidates who are wishing to apply for the Teacher Eligibility Test must have completed eligibility criteria.
TGT (Arts)
- Candidate must have B.A/B.Com degree with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate must have one year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
- Candidate must have B.A./B.Com. at least 45% marks (for those who passed the B.Ed. 30.08.2009 only) and 50% marks (for those who passed B.Ed after 30.08.2009).
- Candidate must have a 1-year bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) According to NCTE (Recognition Criteria and Procedure).
OR
- Candidate must have passed 12th with at least 50% marks or It’s equivalent.
- Candidate must have a 4-year degree in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidate must have passed 12th with at least 50% marks or It’s equivalent.
- Candidate must have a 4-year BA.Ed.
OR
- Candidate must have B.A/B.Com degree with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate must have one year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
TGT (Non-Medical)
- Candidate must have B.Sc (NM) degree with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate must have one year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
- Candidate must have B.Sc. (NM) at least 45% marks (for those who passed the B.Ed. 30.08.2009 only) and 50% marks (for those who passed B.Ed after 30.08.2009).
- Candidate must have a 1-year bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) According to NCTE (Recognition Criteria and Procedure).
OR

- Candidate must be completed Shastri with at least 50% marks from the any recognized university of HP.
Language Teacher
- Candidate must have a B.A degree with Hindi as an elective subject.
- Candidate must have a two-year diploma in Elementary education.
OR
- Candidate must have a B.A degree with Hindi as an elective subject and candidate must have at least 50% marks in it.
- Candidate must have a one-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
- Candidate must have a B.A degree with Hindi as an elective subject with at least 45% marks.
- Candidate must have a 1-year bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) According to NCTE (Recognition Criteria and Procedure).
OR
- Candidate must have a B.A degree with Hindi as an elective subject with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must have one year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
OR
- Prabhakar (Honor in Hindi) with 50% marks B.A. Examination (English and an additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University.
- Candidate must have 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR
- Candidate must be completed M.A (Hindi) from any recognised university of India.
- Candidate must have 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
Junior Basic Training
- Candidate must be passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks from any recognised university or Board of India.
- Candidate must have a two-year JBT certificate course from the duly recognized institution by the Central Government.
OR
- Candidate must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% or its equivalent.
- Candidate must have passed a two-year diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidate must have passed senior secondary with at least 45% marks or its equivalent.
- Candidate must have a two-year diploma in elementary education in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
- Candidate must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks or its equivalent.
- Candidate must have a 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
OR
- Candidate must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% marks or its equivalent.
- Candidate must have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education)
OR
- Must have a bachelor degree and a two-year diploma in elementary education.
Punjabi Language Teacher
- Candidate must be passed B.A. with Punjabi as an elective subject.
- Candidate must have a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidate must be passed B.A. with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject.
- Candidate must have a 1-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed).
OR
- Candidate must be completed B.A. with at least 45% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject.
- Candidate must be completed 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE(Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
- Candidate must have completed B.A. with at least 50% marks with Punjabi as an elective subject.
- Candidate must have a 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) Special Education.
OR
- Giani with 50% marks followed by B.A. Examination (English and one additional subject) with 50% marks from recognized University.
- Candidate must have 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)

Urdu Language Teacher

- Candidate must have a 1-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed).

How to apply for HP TET 2019?
- Candidates have to visit the official website of HPBOSE.
- There you can see the TET tab in the header menu of the site. Click on it.
- Now you see the link of Online Application form TET 2019, click on that link.
- Select your subject in which you want to appear i.e. TGT (Arts), TGT (Medical), TGT (Non-Medical), Shastri, LT, JBT, Punjabi, Urdu Carefully.
- Now enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name and other personal details in the registration form.
- Fill your valid mobile number and email id.
- Upload Images and other documents.
- Now you have to pay the application fee via net banking or debit/credit card.
- Click on the final submission button.
- Save your fulfilled application form for reference purpose.
HP TET Admit Card 2019
Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education has released the admit card for Teacher Eligibility Test. The exam was held between June 16 to 30, 2019. HPTET Admit Card 2019 was available on the official website of HBOSE. Please go through the admit card after downloading it. If there is any mistake on the admit card please inform the board.
Please carry a government photo ID along with the admit card in the examination.
