Join Indian Army: Indian Army registrations for the NCC Special Entry Scheme will close on March 15, 2025, according to the official notification. The Indian Army, through this NCC Special Entry Scheme, aims to recruit and fill 70 posts for NCC Men and six posts for NCC Women. Registration for recruitment under this scheme began on February 14, 2025.

How to apply for the NCC Special Entry Scheme?
Candidates who are interested in applying to the Indian Army under the NCC Special Entry Scheme need to follow the following steps to register:
Step 1: Open the official Indian Army website (joinindianarmy.nic.in).
Step 2: Log in to the Officer Entry Application link on the home page.
Step 3: After logging in, a new page will open where the candidates have to click on “Register.”
Step 4: Enter details in the application form to register.
Step 5: Click on “Submit” after filling out the form to complete the process.
Step 6: The candidates can download and keep a copy of the confirmation page and are also recommended to keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
What happens after Registrations?
According to multiple media reports, the candidates will be shortlisted based on their application form. The shortlisted candidates will be sent a notification on their email IDs with the details of the centre allotment.
After the candidates are allotted their “Selection Centres,” the candidates will have to log into their website and select their dates for SSB dates. The dates will be available on a first come first serve basis. Only the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo SSB selection at the selection centres.
After the selection round, the candidates who are SSB-recommended and medically fit will be issued a joining letter for the training phase on a merit basis. If candidates want more information, they can refer to the Indian Army’s official website.
