The Indian Coast Guard has released the results for the Combined Graduate Engineering Entrance Examination (CGEPT) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access their results on the official ICG website at joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.
The Indian Coast Guard CGEPT exam was held to recruit candidates for Navik (General Duty) and Yantrik posts. A total of 320 vacancies were announced, including 260 for Navik (GD) and 60 for Yantrik positions.
Applicants are advised to visit the website and log in using their credentials to view their results.

Step 1: Visit https://joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in/, the Indian Coast Guard website
Step 2: Find Join ICG as Enrolled Personnel (CGEPT) tab and click on it, then click on CGEPT 01/2025 result link
Step 3: Enter your credentials – email ID and password – and hit ‘Submit’
Step 4: Your result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5. Download a copy of your result for future reference.
Further instructions for the next stages of recruitment are also available on the portal.
All the candidates who clear the written exam will be tested for their physical fitness, a medical examination and then an interview. Candidates who clear all the stages will undergo a training process and later be appointed in the Indian Coast Guard.
In other reports, the Indian Coast Guard has seized contraband identified as Marijuana weighing more than 20 kg from Tamil Nadu’s Mandapam. “Swiftly reacting to international input about drug trafficking from local agencies, the Indian Coast Guard, Mandapam launched ICG Hovercraft for anti-narco ops on Indo-SL IMBL (International Maritime Boundary Line),” a press release said.
The ACV (Air Cushion Vehicle) detected 10 abandoned packets, later confirmed as Marijuana, from an island near IMBL. The Contraband weighing more than 20 kg has been handed over to the Customs Department, Rameshwaram for further action, the ICG added.
