SHIMLA: Noted Indian writer from Himachal Pradesh, SR Harnot’s acclaimed story ‘Nadi Gayab Hai’ has been included in the curriculum of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, under the National Education Policy, 2020.
“Nadi Gayab Hai” is a poignant tale that highlights the impact of hydr-oelectric projects on rural communities and the environment. The story has been acclaimed for its thought-provoking themes and vivid portrayal of life in the Himalayas. The story has now become part of the Aurangabad university’s undergraduate program in Hindi.
Thirteen of Harnot’s stories are already part of the curriculum in various universities across the country, including Allahabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Punjab and Central Universities of Punjab at Bathinda, Himachal Pradesh University and more others.
