Top medical colleges of Delhi according to NIRF Ranking 2024 – Times of India



On August 12, the Ministry of Education released the 2024 edition of the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), marking its ninth annual publication. This framework assesses higher education institutions in India based on five key parameters: Teaching, Learning, and Resources (TLR); Research and Professional Practices (RPC); Graduation Outcomes (GO); Outreach and Inclusivity (OI); and Perception (PER).
In the Medical category, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, clinched the top spot once again.This is not the first time AIIMS Delhi has achieved this; it has consistently held the number 1 position since 2018. This year, seven institutes from Delhi made it onto the list. Check the list below:

Why is All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi number 1?

Since 2018, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, has consistently ranked as the top medical institution in India. Similarly, in the PG [2 Years Program(s)], 120 students graduated in the stipulated time, with 77 placed at a median salary of Rs. 12 lakhs and 43 opting for further studies. In 2021-22, all 100 students in the UG [5 Years Program(s)] were selected for higher studies.
