UPTET is a state level examination, which is organized by UPBEB (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) for checking the eligibility of teacher. It is an eligibility test for those who are wishing to get a teaching job in government schools. The exam is for the recruitment of primary teachers and Junior teachers in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. UPTET 2019 notification has been released. According to the newspapers, UPTET notification and application form schedule will be released on October 31, 2019. The examination will be held on December 22, 2019. - Candidate must be completed 18 years of age. There is no upper cap for the age limit.
- Candidate must have a degree or Diploma in Education.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria 2019
UPTET Educational Qualification
For Classes I-V: Primary Stage
- Graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university and two-year diploma (D.El.Ed.) from NCTE / Indian Rehabilitation Council (RCI). Or
- Undergraduate degree and 2 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery) / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT). Or
- Special B.T.C. Bachelor degree and qualification in Training. Or
- Bachelor degree with special training in Uttar Pradesh for 2 years and BCT Urdu. Or
- Bachelor degree from Aligarh Muslim University (for Urdu teacher) or degree of Moallim-e-Urdu.
For Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
- National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved the Institute Bachelor Degree and B.T.C. Or
- Bachelor Degree with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from Indian Rehabilitation Council (RCI) Or
- Intermediate with minimum 50% marks (10 + 2) and N.C.T.E./U.G.C. 4 years of accredited institution B.A. / B.Sc.Ad. / B.Ed. Or
- Intermediate (10 + 2) and 4-year degree (B.El.Ed) with minimum 50% marks in elementary education. Or
- Bachelor degree with minimum 45% and BE degree.
UPTET 2019 Age limit
- Applicant should be between 18 years and 35 years of age. Candidates related to reserved categories will be given relaxation in age as per norms set by the government.

How to apply for UPTET 2019?
- Candidate has to visit the official website upbasiceduboard.gov.in.
- Click on the online application form link showing on the homepage.
- Now, you have to register for UPTET.
- Fill the required details and click on submit button.
- Save this registration number for further processing.
- Login via registration number and password.
- Now fill the application form.
- After that click on Next, upload your pictures and scanned copy of the signature.
- Then you have to submit the application fee through net banking, debit cards, credit cards, e-challan.
- Review the application form and hit the submit button.
- Download the hard copy of the application form for future reference.

UPTET Exam Pattern 2019
There will be two paper in UPTET 2019. The first paper will be for those candidates who have applied for the post of the primary teacher(class 1 to 5) And Second paper will be for those who have applied for the post of Junior teacher.
- Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be a multiple-choice question.
- There are 1 marks per question.
- There will be no negative marking in the examination.
