Teacher Recruitment Board, Tamilnadu conducts the TNTET exam every year. Candidates who wish to become a teacher can apply for Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test. TRB has released the official notification for TET 2019 on Feb 28, 2019. The application form was available on the official website of the Teacher Recruitment Board i.e. trb.tn.nic.in from March 15 to April 05, 2019. The exam was held on June 8 and 9, 2019 for Paper I and Paper II. Candidates have to get at least 60% marks in Paper I and Paper II. TNTET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
For Paper I (Class I to V)
- Candidate must be passed higher secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must have a 2-year diploma in elementary education.
OR
- Candidate must be passed Higher secondary (or it’s equivalent) with minimum 45% marks.
- Candidate must have passed or in the final year of Diploma in Elementary Education (known by any name) according to the NCTE (Recognition criteria and procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
- Candidate must be passed Higher Secondary(or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate should have a 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or in the final year of the course.
OR
- Candidate must be passed Higher Secondary(or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate must be passed or appeared in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
- Candidate must have completed graduation degree.
- Candidate must have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidate must have completed graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
For Paper II (Class VI to VIII)
- Candidate must have completed graduation degree.
- Candidate must have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidate must have completed graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
- Candidate must have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
OR
- Candidate must be passed graduation with at least 45% marks.
- Candidate must have passed or appeared in the final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
OR
- Candidate must be passed Higher Secondary(or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate should have a 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) or in the final year of the course.
OR
- Candidate must be passed Higher Secondary(or it’s equivalent) with minimum 50% marks.
- Candidate should have a 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. or in the final year of the course.

TNTET Application Form 2019
The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board released the online application from March 25, 2019, on the official website. The last date to fill the online application form was April 05, 2019. Candidate can only fill the application form through online mode. Form filled by another mode will not be entertained.

How to apply for TNTET 2019?
- Candidate has to visit TNTET official website trb.tn.nic.in.
- You can see the “Tamilnadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) – 2019” link on the site. Click on the link.
- Click on the online application.
- Click on the Registration link, Fill all the information sought for in the candidate’s application form.
- After filling out the application form, you have to upload your scanned photo, signature and thumb impression.
- Your email id and phone number are required.
- To deposit the application fee, click on Pay and a new window will open. This will include your registered ID and the amount to be paid.
- There are three payment gateways available for examination fee payment. The online payment deposit option will be available on any click.
- In this, you can choose any of the credit card debit card internet banking facility.
- Be sure to check your transaction after the payment is completed.
- Take a print out of your application form and keep it out.
TNTET Admit Card 2019
Teacher Recruitment Board has released the admit card for TNTET Admit Card. The admit card of the Tamilnadu Teacher Eligibility Test was available on the official website. Candidates can download there admit card through the user id and DOB as a credential. Candidates have to take a photo ID along with the admit card in the exam centre.

Exam Centre
The examination will be conducted in all the districts. Candidates should be present for the exam at their expense. The Board has the right to increase or decrease the number of examination centres and re-allocate candidates for administrative reasons.

TNTET Result 2019
