OTET 2019: Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test

Board of Secondary Education, Odisha conducts every year a teacher eligibility test for those candidates who wish to become a teacher for classes I to VIII in the government school of Odisha. The application form of OTET may be available on the official website in the month of November 2019. Candidates who have completed their graduation and completed a teacher training course on in the final year of the course. Candidates also have an option of appearing at the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE. OTET Eligibility 2019

Category – A

  • Candidate must have passed higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (CT or D.El.Ed).

OR

  • Candidate must have passed higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002.

OR

  • Candidate must have passed higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

OR

  • Candidate must have passed higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

  • Candidate must be a graduate.
  • Candidate must be 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Category – B

  • Candidate must be a graduate.
  • Candidate must be 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • Candidate must be a graduate with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) degree.

OR

  • Candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 45% marks.
  • Candidate must have 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

  • Candidate must have higher secondary or it’s equivalent with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have a 4-year B.A/B.Sc, Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

OR

  • Candidate must have a graduation degree with at least 50% marks.
  • Candidate must have passed 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

OTET Application Form 2019

Odisha teacher eligibility test application form will be available on the official website of BSE Odisha i.e. bseodisha.ac.in. Application filed by online mode shall be accepted. Application form filled through offline mode shall not be accepted. OTET Application Form will be available on November 2019. The candidate shall have to read all information and eligibility before going for the registration form. The candidate shall have the option to pay the application fee via online mode or offline mode.

Payment can be done through SBI only in three ways.

  1. Net Banking (Online Mode)
  2. ATM Card (Online Mode)
  3. Cash Payment through bank challan (Offline mode)

How to apply for OTET 2019?

  1. First of all, Candidate has to visit the official website of BSE Odisha, www.bseodisha.ac.in.
  2. On visiting the official website you will see “Log in to your account” link there.
  3. Now you have to click on “Click here for new registration” link.
  4. On the opened page you have to fill in your name, mobile number, email id and password, confirm password then click the “submit” button.
  5. When you click on the “submit” button, you will be redirected on the login page.
  6. Enter your email id and password and click “Login” button.
  7. There will be six sections,
    1. Personal Information
    2. Eligibility Criteria
    3. Educational Qualification
    4. Address
    5. Information Sheet
    6. Declaration & Payment
  8. Fill the the required information and upload your scanned photograph, qualification certificates and other documents in .jpg / .jpeg / .jpg /.png file within the specified size.
  9. Pay the application fee through State Bank of India via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card or Cash payment through bank challan.
  10. You can take a printout of application form for future reference.

OTET Admit Card 2019

OTET Admit Card 2019 will be issued by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha on its official website. Once the admit card is available, the candidates will be able to download the admit card from bseodisha.ac.in. To download it, simply enter the registration number and email ID.

OTET Exam Pattern 2019

There shall be two papers of OTET – Paper I and Paper-II.

The question papers in non-language subjects shall be bilingual i.e. in Odia and English.

OTET Result 2019

Board of Secondary Education, Odisha will declare the result on the official website. The candidate who has participated in the examination will be able to check their result. The candidate who scores a minimum of 60% or more in the OTET examination will be considered a qualified teacher. Candidates who are belonging to SC/ST/OBC, PWD will secure a minimum 50% may be considered as TET pass.
