Odisha TET exam is organised by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. BSE Odisha conducts this TET once in a year. It shall be called “Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test”(OSSTET). Government has decided to appoint candidates as a teacher who has passed the Teacher Eligibility Test. The application form is only available on the BSE Odisha’s official website i.e. bseodisha.nic.in. The application form may be available on September 2019. Only those candidates who can read and write Odia will be able to apply for the Teacher Eligibility Test. There shall be two papers of OSSTET, Paper I and Paper II. - Candidate must be able to read and write Odia.
- Candidate must have a graduation degree.

OSSTET Eligibility 2019
BSE Odisha has decided some eligibility criteria to fill the application form of TET.
- Candidate should be a permanent resident of India.
- Candidate can able to read, write and speak Oria.
- Candidate should have passed HSE with Oria as a first/second or third language.
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 examination conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha with Odia as an examination subject.
Other Academic and Professional Qualification
The examination will be conducted in two different categories for future teachers in two separate categories namely:-
- Category I- Education Teachers (Trained Graduate Teachers in Science/ Arts, Hindi/ Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Telugu)
- Category II- Physical Education Teacher
Category I
Trained Graduate Arts
- Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Arts/Commerce or Shastri (Sanskrit) degree from the recognized university of India with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates)
- Candidate should have a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE Recognised Institution.
OR
- Candidate should have a 4-year B.A.B.Ed from NCTE recognised Institution with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates)
Trained Graduate Science (PCM/ CBZ)
- Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Science/ B.Tech/ B.E degree from the recognized university of India with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates)
- Candidate should have a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE Recognised Institution.
OR
- Candidate should have a 4-year B.Sc.B.Ed from NCTE recognised Institution with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates)
Hindi Teacher
- Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree with Hindi subject from any recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates)
- Any one of the following training qualifications.
- Hindi Sikshyan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra.
- B.H.Ed. a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University/ Institution.
- B.Ed in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakhin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras.
OR
- Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree from any recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates) with one of the following qualifications
- Rastrabhasa Ratna from Rastrabhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha.
- Shastri (Hindi) from Orissa Rastrabhasa Parisad, Puri.
- Snataka (Acquired by June -2005, the date up to which the temporary recognition has been granted) from Hindi Sikshya Samiti, Odisha, Cuttack.
- One of the following Training qualifications;
- Hindi Sikshyan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra
- B.H.Ed. a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University/ Institution.
- B.Ed in Hindi, a course prescribed by NCTE, from Dakhin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras
Classical Teacher (Sanskrit)
- Candidate should have a Bachelor Degree with Sanskrit subject from any recognised university with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates)
- Candidate should be a Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a Recognised University/ Institution.
OR
- Candidate should have Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from any recognized university with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST /PH / SEBC candidates)
- Candidate should be a Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit), a course prescribed by NCTE, from a Recognised University/ Institution.
Classical Teacher (Urdu)
- Candidate should have Alim with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for PH candidates).
- Candidate should have B.Ed./ Urdu B.Ed. from NCTE Recognised University/ Institution.
OR
- Candidate should be B.A. (Persian) with 50% marks in aggregate (45% PH Candidates)
- Candidate should have B.Ed./ Urdu B.Ed. from NCTE Recognised University/ Institution.
Classical Teacher (Telugu)
- Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Arts with Telugu as a subject from the recognized university of India with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates)
- Candidate should have Telugu B. Ed. from a University / Institution recognized by NCTE.
Category II
Physical Education Teacher
- Candidate should have +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC) candidates).
- C.P.Ed./ B.P.Ed./ M.P.Ed. From a recognized Board/ University.
OSSTET Application Form 2019
Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test Application Form will be released by BSE Odisha in September 2019. The candidate will be able to apply for TET from the official website of BSE. Candidates have to fill their application form within the given time. The applications will be filled only by online mode. After filling the application form, the applicant will have to pay the application fee.

How to apply for OSSTET 2019?
- First of all click on the official website of OSSTET i.e. osstet.in.
- Now click on the link says “New Registration”.
- Enter your name, email id, mobile number, password, confirm password. Then press on submit button.
- Verify your mobile number.
- Now with the help of credentials, log in to the official website.
- Pay the application fee. Click on the ‘online payment’ link.
- After paying the application fee, you have to click on the ‘Application Form’ link.
- Fill your details and upload the documents.
- Click on the final submission button.
- Take a printout of application for reference purpose.
OSSTET Admit Card 2019
OSSTET Admit card will be available on the official website. Candidates who have applied for TET will be able to download their Admit Card a few days before the exam from the official website of OSSTET. Admit Card is a very important document to carry in the examination hall. Please remember one thing that you have to carry a valid photo id along with the admit card in the examination centre.

OSSTET Result 2019
The Board will declare the OSSTET Result 2019 on the official website. Those candidates who have appeared in the TET exam will be able to check their result from the osstet.in or bseodisha.ac.in. Candidates will need to enter credentials on the login page to check their results. The result will be based on the performance of the candidates in the OSSTET 2019 Examination. The candidates who will clear the exam will get Eligibility Certificate.
